Architect & Design / Security / Engineer / Technology

As an Information Security professional with over 20 years of experience, I have contributed significantly to my team’s success during my four years at Microsoft. By fostering a culture of self-determination and collaboration among the engineers, I developed a team training program that ensures each member is engaged and accountable to a team standard. I prioritize the customer experience, always striving to exceed their expectations and provide excellent service.
My experience has made me an expert in regulatory compliance, auditing, and corporate governance (HIPAA). Since 2005, I have been a Certified CISSP, and I also hold several Microsoft Certifications (MCSE, AZ-900, AZ-500, AZ-103), ITIL v.3 Foundation Certification, Cisco Academic Instructor (CCNA/CCNP), and Check Point Certified Engineer since 2001. I have been recognized for my knowledge in CEF/Syslog Sentinel integration and deployments and am a global SME in this area. I am also an SME in Kusto and create custom analytic queries and reports.
My career has included working for IBM from 2014 to 2019 and for Check Point Software from 2012 to 2014, where I specialized in cybersecurity. Prior to that, I served as an Information Security Engineer at Texas Health Resources from 2003 to 2012 and worked for Check Point Software from 2001 to 2003. I am also a proud US Army Veteran.
I have achieved several notable accomplishments, including winning the Microsoft Team Impact Award and the 2022 Microsoft Hackathon 1st Place Award. Additionally, I received Check Point’s Most Innovative Engineer Award and was recognized as the Academic Honor Graduate in the US Army’s PLDC Course. I have also been honored with President’s List Award Winner and Summa Cum Laude Graduate from American Military University.
I am committed to continuing to grow and learn while prioritizing customer satisfaction and contributing to the success of my team and organization.
