Go to https://aws.amazon.com/ and click on the Get Started for Free link.
Click on the 'Create a Free Account' button.
Create an AWS account by signing up with your email address, password, and AWS account name. Note: Your AWS account name can be whatever want to call it and can be changed later.
Change the radio button to select a Personal Account and enter your contact information.
AWS requires a credit card to be on file for any usage charges you incur beyond the one-year free tier limit. After signing up, you will receive one year of free tier usage from AWS which includes 90 minutes per month of Amazon Connect usage, 30 minutes of local inbound, and 30 minutes of local outbound. Next, confirm your identity via SMS or a voice call.
Enter your verification code and verify your identity.
Select a support plan. We recommend the Basic Plan for Free.
You can now sign in to the AWS Console using the email address and password you registered with.
Make sure you select the option to login as Root user.
